How ordering works

Ordering glazing from a company in another country is an act of trust — you wire money before a crate arrives. This page shows exactly what happens between your first email and the glass reaching your workshop, and how to check us out before you commit to anything.

Step by step

From enquiry to your workshop

Glass products are quoted individually — crated freight and full-box quantities make every order a little different. Lifetime Acrylic is the exception: it is ordered online with instant pricing, then follows the same invoice-and-deliver flow from step 3.

  1. Tell us what you need

Use the glass quote builder to send a structured request — products, sizes, quantities — or simply email sales@balticframe.com. We reply within one business day with prices, availability and our current price list — or request the price list by e-mail directly. Quotes are valid for 30 days; there is no obligation.

  2. Confirm your order

When you accept, we send an order confirmation by email. The price on that confirmation is the contract price — the invoice will match it, always. No surprises between quote and invoice.

  3. Invoice and payment

We email an invoice from Baltic Frame SIA — the same legal entity you can verify below — payable by standard SEPA bank transfer. First orders are payable before dispatch; regular customers can agree other terms in writing. No card details, no payment portal.

  4. Packed and shipped

Glass ships in full manufacturer boxes of 2 sheets, crated in wood for freight where the route needs it. Stock sheets leave immediately; factory orders from Groglass in Riga typically take 1–2 weeks. Lifetime Acrylic ships flat, masked on both sides.

  5. Inspect on arrival

Check the consignment on delivery. If the packaging shows damage, note it on the carrier’s document before signing. You then have 5 business days to report any breakage with photos — we replace the affected sheets or credit them, your choice. This process is written into our terms of sale, not just this page.

Before you trust us

Check us out — please

A serious supplier should be verifiable in public sources. Here is everything you need to check that Baltic Frame SIA is who we say we are, before your first euro moves.

Validate our VAT number

Our EU VAT number is LV42103095794. Check it in the European Commission’s VIES database ↗ — the same check we run on your VAT number for 0% reverse-charge invoicing.

A registered Latvian company

Baltic Frame SIA, registration No. 42103095794, "Vismaņi k-1", Mārupes pag., Mārupes nov., LV-2167, Latvia. We moved to Mārupe in summer 2026, so public registries may briefly still show our previous Riga address while the update is processed.

Official Artglass distributor

Artglass™ is made by Groglass in Riga — we are an official distributor, a short drive from the factory. Compare anything we claim against the manufacturer’s own site, artglass.groglass.com ↗.

Terms in writing, in public

Our terms of sale and privacy policy are published, not hidden in a PDF. The confirmation price is the contract price, damage claims have a defined process, and disputes have a defined forum. We are framers supplying framers — we prefer solving problems to quoting clauses.

Common questions

Before your first order

Do you sell to private individuals?

We sell to businesses — framers, galleries, museums and other professional buyers. By placing an order you confirm you are buying for your trade or profession; we may decline orders that appear to be consumer purchases, with a full refund.

Can I try the products before a first order?

Yes. For Lifetime Acrylic, order the €15 sample pack online — sample-only orders ship free anywhere in Europe. For glass products, ask for samples in your quote request and we will arrange them.

What happens if glass arrives broken?

Inspect the consignment on delivery and note any visible damage on the carrier’s delivery document before signing. Report breakage or damage within 5 business days with photos, and we replace the affected sheets or credit them — your choice.

How long does delivery take?

Sheets we hold in stock ship immediately. Everything else is ordered from the Groglass factory in Riga, typically 1–2 weeks, plus transit time to you. Glass ships in full manufacturer boxes, crated for freight where needed.

Do you offer payment terms?

First orders are payable by SEPA bank transfer before dispatch. For regular customers we are happy to agree other payment terms in writing — just ask.
